The auction was ultimately won by **BB 55**, which achieved **AED 6.30 million**—only **AED 140,000 more than AA 21**. The difference between first and second place was therefore exceptionally narrow, highlighting the strength of demand for premium two-digit combinations.
The leading publicly reported results were:

Together, these four leading plates generated **AED 21.67 million**.
The full auction generated a record **AED 81.178 million**, marking the highest proceeds in the history of RTA vehicle number plate auctions at that time.
AA 21 alone represented approximately **7.6% of the entire auction revenue**.
This was not simply the sale of a registration number. It was the acquisition of exclusivity, recognition, and a highly visible symbol of status within Dubai’s luxury culture.
AA 21 also became part of the continuing story of the **AA series**, a code strongly associated with Dubai’s premium plate market. The RTA had introduced a new generation of dual-code licensing plates in 2017, with AA among the first codes offered in that new format.
By the end of the evening, AA 21 had transformed from one of ninety auction entries into one of Dubai’s most valuable publicly recorded number plates—a two-digit AA combination supported by a documented auction result of **AED 6.16 million**.

To avoid accidental expiration, we recommend keeping a valid credit card on file with your registrar and enabling auto-renewal so your domain renews automatically each year.

Once the Lease to Own plan has been paid in full, the domain will be transferred to your ownership.
